Some dogs want to spend the day playing with friends. Others prefer a quieter environment and extra human attention. We've cared for puppies, seniors and dogs who need additional support, including diabetic dogs requiring insulin, blind dogs and dogs with certain medical needs.
Before accepting a dog who needs specialized care, we'll talk with you about their individual needs so we can decide whether we're the right environment for them.

We've had such a wonderful experience with Doggy Retreat & Spa! Koda and Brodie have stayed there for boarding, and I truly couldn't ask for a safer, more loving, and happier environment for my boys. Leydi treats every dog like family and genuinely cares about their comfort and well-being.
One thing I especially appreciate is how thoughtful and communicative Leydi is. She regularly sends videos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. Seeing Koda and Brodie happy, relaxed, and having fun made all the difference.
The transportation service is also an amazing bonus, so convenient and reliable. During our vacation, I never worried because I knew my boys were in the best hands.

We love Doggy Retreat & Spa! My four-legged babies have stayed with them multiple times, and I always feel so comfortable leaving them there. They have tons of space, sleep cage-free, and get spoiled with treats, hugs, and lots of attention all day. It also feels like I'm still with them because she sends daily videos.
Leydi and her staff truly love the dogs like their own, and it shows. Their spa is incredible as well, always leaving my babies more beautiful than they arrived. I highly recommend them!

They are the most amazing doggie day care I have ever left my puppies with ❤️ I cannot rec them enough, when I went to pick my babies up they did not want to leave. They were so happy there it took them some time to realize that mommy was picking them up! They stayed with them for two weeks during Xmas and new years. The entire time she would send me updates with pictures and videos. I had such peace of mind the entire time and was able to enjoy our vacation as well. Will definitely return and continue to recommend. THANK YOU SOO MUCH!

The heart behind Doggy Retreat & Spa. For more than 10 years, caring for dogs has been much more than a business for her. It's a huge part of her life.
Leydi built Doggy Retreat & Spa on one simple belief: when you're away, your dog deserves to be cared for by someone who will love them like you do.
Born and raised in Cuba, she came to the United States at 17. She spent many years in the medical field, where caring for people, noticing little details and earning trust were part of everyday life. That same nurturing nature found its way into her love for animals.
She's also a mom, so she knows what it feels like to trust someone with someone you love, and never takes that responsibility lightly. Her goal has always been a place that feels less like a kennel and more like a second home.
